Experience Raffles at The Old War Office (plus optional overnight stay*)
An exclusive tour of the old State Rooms, followed by a tasting experience in the Spy Bar which pays homage to the plethora of spies whose secrets were guarded by the walls of the Old War Office.
The bar is located in two former rooms that were numbered 006 and 007 in the early 20th century and functioned as high security storage vaults for identity papers and mission reports of MI5 and MI6 agents. Hear insight from bestselling spy writer Charles Cumming, who himself was approached for recruitment by MI6, inspiring his subsequent novel ‘A Spy by Nature’.
Secrecy meets sophistication in this tasting experience, where guests will enjoy a welcome drink, three cocktails in tribute to the spies who once occupied the corridors, perfectly matched with canapés to enhance the tasting.
