JULIE’S, Holland Park: £140

Wednesday 9 October 2024, Dinner

This glamorous French-inspired restaurant was one of the hottest restaurants in London in the 1990s – notably as Princess Diana’s favourite culinary hideaway. Princess Margaret was also a regular and rock royalty Mick Jagger. It has just re-opened to huge acclaim and the famous faces are flocking back.

Chef patron Owen Kentworthy (of Brawn and the Pelican) has crafted a delicious menu of dishes that reflect his unpretentious style, with fare like duck liver schnitzel with shallot marmalade and a golden Sole meunière.
