Cycene– meaning kitchen in Old English – emulates the feeling of dinner in a private home. Executive Chef Theo Clench won the restaurant a Michelin-star in a record 6-months from opening this year. This bespoke 10-course menumarries classic techniques with subtle influences from his travels whilst drawing on Theo’s passion for seafood and game. The experience begins in the minimalist bar with a glass of Gusbourne sparkling wine, followed by a dish with Theo in the Cycene state-of-the-art kitchen and finally sitting down to the surprise menu in their stunning dining room above Redchurch Street.
